Our partnership with Pereraadio began in 1993 when we completed the construction of our first radio station located in the 12th Century Olevista Church in Tallinn, Estonia.
For over 25 years the partnership of Pereraadio and ECR has made the radio ministry to the people of Estonia, Eastern Europe and Russia possible. God has blessed this radio outreach far beyond our expectations through the gifts and prayers of faithful supporters like you. ECR’s mission from the beginning has been to provide the physical assets and finances required to enable and support AM and FM broadcasting of the Good News of the Gospel, 24 hours – 7 days a week. This has been accomplished and we continue to support and honor our commitment to this day.
From 1993 through 2010, we raised funds and sent teams of volunteers, equipment, and building materials to establish transmitter sites, erect broadcasting towers and build studios. Since 2010, ECR has transitioned from “Building” to financially “Supporting” the operational needs of Tartu Family Radio Ministry (TFR). This has allowed the ministry to grow and reach millions of listeners over the years. In 2013, Tartu Family Radio celebrated their 20th broadcast anniversary and produced a beautiful video commemorating that momentous occasion. What an encouragement to watch their video and experience what God has done. They gave thanks to the Lord and to the Americans who gave sacrificially of their time, talents and resources to make their dream and prayers of having the first Christian radio broadcast in their country a reality. Watching and hearing their testimonies made all of our efforts worthwhile and confirmed that the Holy Spirit was indeed at work in calling us to go and build the infrastructure for Christian radio radio stations in Estonia.
